This blog aims to create a sustainable world by focusing on light pollution. The severity of light pollution is unknown to a large majority of the public. A surprising amount of animal species including humans will greatly benefit from a reduction of artificial light at night. That is good news not only because of all the benefits that come with darkness at night, but also because it can be achieved with very little sacrifice and effort. By discussing ongoing scientific research results in our blog posts we hope to encourage citizens, municipals and governments to switch of a large portion of artificial light at night allowing our environment to recover from the damage caused by the loss of darkness.
